Dying Sunflower #3



The texture of sunflowers is really something when it starts drying out, drooping and curling.  Here is a straight shot from yesterday, with a dash of bleach bypass from Lightroom to help delineate the fuzz from the leaves and stem.

Exposure: ISO 200, f/22 @ 0.6s, tripod (Gitzo Basalt GT2830 and Gitzo GH2781QR ball head)

  2. Thank you, Gary! No SFX or Photoshop tricks were employed here. Its just a flower, white wall, window light and 40 years experience. I spent 20 of those years making product shots that look just like this, on transparency film with no retouching.
