This is a considerably more stylized image using Silver Efex Pro. After adjusting in LR 2.6 I used the pinhole camera preset then reduced the effect.

Silver Efex Pro

My first effort using Silver Efex Pro. Adjusted in LR 2.6 then used the dark sepia preset in SE Pro.

Cloud Formation - Castlewood Park

Another cloud shot from my recent Castlewood hike. This is an in-camera monochrome capture through the Cokin P007 infrared filter. Nikon D700, ISO 200, Nikon 180mm f2.8, f/8.0 @ 1/100s, handheld. RAW file processed in Lightroom 2 to crop 1:1 and adjust contrast.

Infrared Water Lily Pads - MoBot

Nikon D100, ISO 200, 105mm Micro w/Polarizer and Hoya R72 Infrared filters, f/16 @ 1/6s, Bogen tripod and ball head.  The original is dark red and very flat, despite the backlight.  Retouching in Photoshop CS4 to remove coins on the upper left pad and a stray leaf on the foreground pad, then Sepia conversion in Lightroom 2.  After some hit and miss results, I find that the best workflow for digital Infrared is to edit in Photoshop first, then finish up in Lightroom.

Arch on a Gray Day

Not much greenery downtown this afternoon, but that's ok with black and white. Computer crashed or I would have tried to fix the perspective of the building on the left ... this was taken at 10 mm with Canon's 10-22 mm wide angle lens. Specs: ISO 100, f7.1, 1/125 sec. with a Canon Digital Rebel.
