Great shot and perfect situation for HDR. Do you like Photomatrix enough to drop a c-note?
I'm not sure. I think Photoshop might be just as powerful but the Photomatix tool is much easier - it's intuitive and fun to use. There's a free Windows version but I'm not sure of it's limitations.
I should also note that I used 4 images for this composite: EV -1, 0, +1, and +2.
