Gerry Pagano

I've been working on some new (to me) lighting techniques for this portrait of Saint Louis Symphony musician Gerry Pagano. More here...

I like this shot very much, but the one on your blog is really spectacular. Keep 'em coming, Ray!

Love that lighting Ray.

Thanks all. These shoots are a lot of fun when you feel like the lighting is working. I shot this tethered so we had good feedback on how we were doing.

I like the composition also. What was the lighting set-up?

Three strobes: a medium softbox to the left and two behind the subject for rim lighting. I describe it a little more at the Journal.
