Mayan Breast Plate Detail, SLAM

There are still a few good pre-Colombian artifacts to to see at the St. Louis Art Museum during the reconstruction work.  They are very difficult to photography, however.  This close-up of a silver Mayan breast plate is dimly lit behind thick plexi.  The meticulous workmanship is awesome.
