When I took this picture along the Missouri River in St. Charles, I was very much thinking about the work of Ralph Gibson and intended it to be a monochrome abstraction. As I was processing the single file in Nik HDR Efex, however, Ernst Haas suddenly showed up. I guess it is a two-fer.
