While it seems like portraits are en vogue on Scenes of STL right now, I thought that I would upload this one. I just became a father three weeks ago, and here is a photo that my wife took of me and my son, Amir. I had recently watched Total Recall and was trying to recreate a scene in the movie where one of the mutants has a baby like person pop out of his chest. I think that both of us had fun doing this. I even went as far as recreating the Total Recall poster on our family website here: benjaminal.

Great shot! Amir looks preternaturally content! You need to do a whole series of Paul Verhoeven tributes. "Showgirls" should present an interesting challenge...
